President — Costantino Baldissara
The President is the legal representative of the association and represents it for all external purposes as well as having the management responsibilities for the Secretariat staff. In cooperation with the Vice-President, Executive Director and Board Advisor, the President agrees key strategic direction, positions and messages. He is also responsible for the development of new member services and strategic alliances that support the direction of the association such as the manufacturers' European representative ACEA, or international associations such as AIAG.
Vice President — Wolfgang Göbel
The Vice-President is also the Chairman of the Board and deputises for the President in all matters. He is also responsible for the development of the membership in cooperation with all Board members, and for the association's relationship with the manufacturers' senior logistics representatives
Quality Commissioner — Eduardo Estevez
The Quality Commissioner leads the strategic objective of the association to improve operational efficiencies of logistics service providers through the harmonisation of operational handling standards across all European manufacturers. Where appropriate this may be extended to promoting the use of such harmonised standards to other regions of the world through joint activities with other associations.
EU Affairs Commissioner — Antoine Redier
The EU Affairs Commissioner is responsible for the oversight of all ECG positions in respect to European legislation affecting the association and its members. He will ensure that members are kept informed of new legislation expected to impact the sector and that ECG representatives lobby the EU Commission and Parliament appropriately as such legislation is developed.
Education Commissioner — Ilhan Cetinkaya
The Education Commissioner leads the promotion of the ECG Academy and ensured that standards are maintained at the highest possible levels. He also steers the development of other training and educational initiatives to raise standards of understanding of the sector and management skills within it.
Carbon Calculator & Environmental Commissioner — Mats Eriksson
The Carbon Calculator and Environmental Commissioner is responsible for following all areas of Environmental concern to the industry, particularly changing legislative requirements, and identifying issues for ECG to pursue. In the short term the most important subject is the promotion of the Carbon Calculator project.
Land Transport Commissioners — Heinrich-W. Averwerser & Konrad Zwirner
The Land Transport Commissioners are responsible for identifying issues that are particular to operators of road or rail modes of vehicle transportation and related services. The Commissioners will align the needs of such service providers with the aims of the association towards other members, manufacturers' representatives, national and European legislators.
Maritime & Ports Commissioner — Bjørn O. Gran Svenningsen
The Maritime & Ports Commissioner supports the Maritime Commissioner in identifying issues that are particular to operators of shipping of port terminal transport services and related services. The Commissioner will align the needs of such service providers with the aims of the association towards other members, manufacturers' representatives, national and European legislators.
