For several years these meetings have been held to provide a forum for the members operating in these markets to come together on a regular basis. The region is deemed to cover Poland and the Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia as well as the Russian Federation and the meeting venues vary across the region. Meetings are normally held twice a year in the Spring and Autumn.
The usual format is to start with lunch and then the meeting is held in the afternoon. The meetings are always supported by the ECG Secretariat and Members of the ECG Board and, normally, several sponsors who use the opportunity to make presentations to the assembled members. The agenda typically includes presentations from ECG on the latest news and activities from across Europe as well as presentations from some of the members on their own markets. When possible guest speakers who can provide interesting insight are also invited.
